The actresses have maintained a strong friendship throughout the years. When Barrymore split from her husband, Will Kopelman, Diaz opened up about supporting her pal during her difficult time.
"Everybody pulls the wagons around [for] our friends, whoever needs us at whatever point in time," Diaz told Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM show, Radio Andy. "Even if it's something that the public doesn’t know about. Internally were all going, 'OK, who needs us now?'"
